change?

This week I watched This Week. The host was George Stephanopoulos. The guests on the show were Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook, Senator Bernie Sanders. The pundits on the show were Dem. strategist Donna Brazile, political analyst Matthew Dowd, Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.) , Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.), White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl.

Beginning our show we discuss Clinton's choice for choosing, Senator Tim Kaine. White House Correspondent Jonathan K. brings up that Tim Kaine has won eight times in office, has great chemistry with Hillary Clinton. He also brings up that both of the parties' vp picks have already shown major contrast such Mike Pence and Donald Trump being on stage, at separate times; While, Hilary Clinton and Tim Kaine have shared the stage together. George S. ask what will be the message from the DNC currently. Jonathan K. says that the Democrats should caution with their message of hope and try making it more realistic. George S. ends the talk with how the leaked emails will affect Debbie Wasserman Schultz. As of now, Debbie Wasserman Schultz will resign and stepdown from being the Chairman of the Democratic National Committee. Clinton's campaign manager Robby Mook came to speak. In the interview, the subject matter was on how the DNC will differ from the RNC from policies spoken from the Democratic Nominee, to guests, and entertainment. Robby Mook said the RNC did not speak of Donald Trump's policies and instead, was all about bashing Hillary Clinton. While, I didn't see the whole coverage of the RNC, I did read Donald Trump's speech. The speech covered the parts he has been campaigning and more, such as bringing up the LGBTQ community, bringing key facts about how American citizens aren't safe from the dangers of terrorism, and more. But many news outlets have questioned the facts presented, some being false, exaggerated but most of them have been presented as accurate. Next, we have short interview with Bernie Sanders. George S. starts off with what were his (Sanders) thought on the WikiLeaks of the emails. Sanders responded that he knew that he was right about the DNC chairman being unfair and biased. He said he wants change in the Democratic party and need a leader who will be fair and bring change. He went on to bash Donald Trump, up until George S. brings up a clip where Trump is trying to side with Bernie and bring up that he has been treated unfair. Bernie understands that he trying to get his voters but he will need to do more. Our final interview is with Paul Manafort. Started off with bashing Hillary Clinton but went on to talk about NATO and Donald Trump's commentary on it. To sum it up, Donald Trump thinks that NATO is bad for America because of the amount of money we are paying for defense. Mitch McConnell have to said that his comment is a mistake. Paul M. came to defend Trump's comments and saying that he meant to say countries should carry their own weight. They bring up Trump's speech, saying the speech was "dark", " not optimistic", " not hopeful enough". I have to disagree, reading the speech, it seems to have shown the world in black and white colors. The reality of it is our country is in a dark place. Trump was trying to show his voters that the world they are living in is cruel and violent, and we have to change that. We end the interview with talk of Roger Alies joining the Trump trail but Paul M. said that's a rumor and it's false. We end with our pundits. The democrats pundits start off the talk. Vice Chairman Donna Brazile starts off by saying she apologized to Bernie Sanders campaign and the nonsense in the party needs to stop. Rep Tom Cole, who came to discuss that RNC was a hit unlike Paul Manafort who has said otherwise. The pundits talk about both parties' vp picks. Starting with Tim Kaine, some saying that he complements Hillary. Some said the same for Mike Pence and Donald Trump. One pundit ,Matthew Dowe, brought up that Mike Pence and Tim Kaine were picked by two people who have rather large egos. But both can be seen as "humble servants". I believe that both candidates choose someone safe and who can show the "softer" side of the two. They go on to talk about Paul Manafort's plan to expand the battle-ground states from 14 to 20, bringing in states that have traditionally been liberal like Michigan, New Mexico. Some just to name.

To conclude, Donald Trump is the Republican Nominee, Clinton choose Tim Kaine as her vice president pick, and the RNC had its ups and downs, and the Democrats have been playing dirty within their own party. And to end it, I am not surprise by it. But, we have long ways to go until November.

It's my convention and i can cry if i want to.

This week I watched Face the Nation. The host was John Dickerson. The guest on the show were Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, and Cleveland police chief Calvin Williams, Former Governor of Mississippi Haley Barbour. The pundits were CBS News election director Anthony Salvanto, Wall Street Journalist Kimberly Strassel, The Federalist writer Ben Domenech, American Conservative Union Matt Schlapp.

Our first interview is with Paul Manafort, Trump's campaign manager. They talk about how the main focus of the convention will be on Donald Trump and showing his more personal side. The convention will showcase his family members, business partners, senators who support Trump. This gives him a boost because his family members speaking out for him will show that he has strong family values that republicans hold true. They talk about if the republican convention is going to be Donald Trump's convention, is he reshaping the party or the head of it. Paul M. answers to both yes. This is his convention and he is the change of modern conservatives views, and bringing a wave of change for the party. The topic of his vice president pick comes up. John D. says that Donald's choice for Pence is because he wants unity in the party and what does that mean. Manafort responds back that he (Trump) means that he wanted someone with experience to be president as vice president, someone who can reach out to the party. They end on  the two's different views and opinions. Next interview is with Newt Gingrich. John D. begins the interview with how did the vetting process go for him and what did finalists had to go through. John D. asks what is Donald Trump's biggest weakness to Newt G. He answers back that he doesn't know the regular traditional republicans. I can agree with the statement but I really wouldn't call that his biggest weakness but more like challenge he has to face with. They go on talk about Trump being against special interest groups and the politicians who take money from them like Hillary Clinton. They end on with if Newt was disappointed that he wasn't picked as Donald Trump's final vp pick. He says no and Mike Pence is a great choice and if he had the chance to serve in the cabinet, he definitely take it. Up next is Haley Barbour. They talk about if the GOP convention will expect any shenanigans from the Stop Trump movement, Trump's vice president pick, the missing senators and republicans that aren't coming to the convention. The pundits come to talk about Trump's vice president pick, some of the pundits says that it helps Trump but it can hurt him in states with more minorities like Florida. Two of the pundits got into an argument that this is now the party of Donald Trump, not the party of Lincoln and it came to Cleveland to die. I have no true reason to put this in the blog but I thought the argument the two had was pretty funny. But on serious note, the pundit who did say the party is dying has a point. The party has now been divide between a candidate who has ties to somewhat of the core values of the party but mostly is doing things his way and creating some tension in the nation. But, dying is pretty strong word to use, more like fading away from the traditional views they used to have. The final interview is with Calvin Williams. The interview mainly talked about the security and how the shootings in Dallas influence their tactics now. The final panel ends the show with how the attacks on police and shootings influence the presidential election.

This week, we have come to Trump's final pick for vice president, The Republican/Trump's convention, and the changes the RNC is facing and what is up next for them. The election is far from over and only just beginning.

the room's on fire and America thinks this is fine

This week, I watched Fox News Sunday. The stand-in host for Chris Wallace was Shannon Bream. The guest on the show were Senator Jeff Sessions, former Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey, NYPD commissioner Bill Bratton, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, Sec. of Labor Thomas Perez. The pundits were political analyst Brit Hume, journalist Susan Page, political adviser Karl Rove, Fox News political analyst Juan Williams.

We begin with former Philadelphia police commissioner Charles Ramsey. They mostly talk about the bridging the gap between cops and civilians. Then the talk turns to gun control when she asked that if more gun control laws the answer and will they solve the issue. He answers back with "....we need a comprehensive look at the criminal justice, a look at this communities where there is a lot of gun violence. So, yes sensible gun laws can help but that by its self is not going to solve the problem." I agree with this statement because this issue isn't about gun control but more of the racial divide between black communities and police. Gun control can solve the part of gang violence in these communities but it doesn't solve the tension between both. Up next is NYPD commissioner Bill Bratton and Homeland Security Sec. Jeh Johnson. They talk about the suspect having ties to The New Black Panthers group and his motives for the shootings. Jeh J. responds that the shooter wanted to specifically kill white officers and in the coming days, they will have more to report. They go on to talk about ways to fix the gap between cops and minority groups. The next interview is Rev. Jesse Jackson. The interview is repeat of what the two pervious guest. We head into the pundits, and one of the pundits gives his view on the racial divide as a person of color. Saying, that being a person of color brings dangers for him and that he's glad that there are politicians who are trying to fix the gap instead making this a racial situation. There wasn't much talk due to timing. So, we head into interviews with vp potential pick and the responses both candidates had. Thomas P. talks about Hillary C. and her plans to make our country united. They talk about her future healthcare plans, the end of FBI investigation on her emails. It ends on the talk if he is a potential vp pick but he says he is content with his day job. Next is Jeff Sessions. They talk about Donald Trump's meeting with the GOP senators. Since, the senator was also apart of the meeting, he says that he thinks the meeting went well and that there was some mistunderstandings but its all fine. He want on talk about how Trump is going to fix America and he's going to get the job done. They end if he is a potential vp pick for Trump and he says that is up to Trump. We return to the pundits. They mostly talk about Clinton's email scandal and what is to be made of it.

This week we talk about the divide between our minority citizens and policemen and how to fix this gap, we mourn the death of innocent civilians and how our candidates respond to this crisis. I just hope our nation heals.

blank

This week I watched Meet the Press. The host was Chuck Todd. The guests on the show were Hilary Clinton, Senator Tom Cotton, Secretary of Labor Tom Perez. The pundits were Katy Tur, Andrea Mitchell, Kasie Hunt, and Kelly O'Donnell.

On the show, a recorded phone interview with Hillary Clinton starts off us. The call mostly consisted of her giving a summary of the 3-hour interview with the FBI and what is to be made of it. As of now, the FBI will not recommend any charges towards her. The pundits talk about how the email scandal affects her voters and polls. Giving voters a sense of distrust with her. The next interview is with Tom Cotton. The main concern of the interview was terrorism. Tom C. discussed that not only in other parts of Bangladesh or Turkey should we be concern but also with western countries. Well, I think that any attack with our allies is an attack on America. And, I say that because we, Americans, are trying to defeat ISIS and we can't defeat if we only think of our nation only but the world too. The next interview is with Tom Perez. They began with the Trans-Pacific Partnership (tpp). Chuck T. brings to light that Trump is opposed to the tpp and if Clinton will oppose the trade. To which, Perez responds that she has made it clear she oppose tpp. She opposes it because of the health concerns it brings and the damages agriculture would have. Now, the interview goes on for Perez to throw some jabs at Trump. Chuck T. brings up a statement that Tom made last year saying ".... ... (tpp) critical to our 21th century competiveness" and if he still agrees with it. Perez said he does but he wants to build a stronger trade and one that protects the American Worker. Now, I read up on the trade but the opposers are mostly concern with worker's rights and environment endangerment. But, I think at least one candidate support the idea of free trade. The next set of questions talk about the thearts the nation faces with the new president. We head to the pundits talking about insanity of politics and how's that is working out for us. They also talk about potential vice presidents for both candidates. Trump's picks are Chris Christie, Mike Pence, Bob Corker, Newt Gingrich. Some of the pundits say that Trump needs a "Yes Man" and with his picks , they aren't looking that way. With Clinton, her picks are Tim Kaine, Sherrod Brown, Tom Perez and Elizabeth Warren. Most of the pundits agree that what Clinton needs is a follow through with her commitment.

This week, we followed up on the Clinton's email scandal and the end of it, America defeating terrorism and the Trans-Pacific Partnership. We discuss our candidates potential picks for vice president.

CRASH

This week I watched Face the Nation and This Week. The host on Face the Nation is John Dickerson. The guest on Face the Nation was Senator Marco Rubio. The pundits on the show Dana Foroohar, David Rennie, David Ignatius, Mark Zandi, Anthony Salvanto, Peggy Noonan, Tavis Smiley, Mark Leibovich, Susan Page, Maya Macguineas. The host on This Week is Geroge Stephanopoulos. The guest on the show were Sen. Mitch McConnell, Thomas Perez, British Ambassador Sir Kim Darroch. The pundits on the show were Greta Van Susteren, Stephanie Cutter, Alex Castellanos, Michael Eric Dyson.

On our first show, This Week, we start off with our first interview with Mitch McConnell. The interview starts off with If he believes if Donald Trump is qualified and how will he convince all the that he isn't. He starts off in saying that he's made a lot of changes and that is good. But the host wants to know if he is qualified, and Mitch M. starts off by saying to let the American people decide. Yes, the citizens of this nation can decide whether if he is qualified or not, but what do the people who he's going to work with really think about him. And really, the question is a simple but he gave answer to the question at least. They go on to talk about Trump's response to the Brexit, how does this affect America's relationship to Britain, and the divide between the Republican party. They talk about the massive difference between Trump's and Clinton's campaign in money. They end on the issue of the filibuster, the sit-in, gun control bills and what is being compromised. Stephan brings up the bill on if you are the "no fly" list shouldn't be able immediately to purchase a gun and what are his thoughts with that. He says that they agree that certain people shouldn't be able to buy at the snap of finger but that banning people from purchasing a firearm is also unconstitutional. And, I agree that banning people from not owning a gun is unconstitutional but even if they are ban, there is still lots of ways of getting a gun. Next, interview with Thomas Perez. They talk about how America wants a new direction, Trump's trade policies, and the vote on the Trade Pacific. They end with if he is a potential vp pick. The next guest is with British Ambassador Sir Kim Darroch. They start with how the Brexit will affect the US's relationship with Britain, the possibility of revote but not a chance of it, the prime minister resignation after the Brexit vote & what does that mean. The interview ends there. We go on to the Powerhouse Roundtable and they discuss the issues of the polls and what do those numbers mean for the candidate, who is the candidate who will bring change to America and the Brexit. The roundtable gets out of hand until George S. calms the table. Our last interview is with Preet Bharara. He's known as the 'Sheriff of Wall Street". They talk about the candidates anti-Wall street views, the crack down on corruption, and legal cases in the election.

On our next show, Face the Nation, we begin with a one-on-one interview with Senator Marco Rubio. They begin with The Brexit and how will that affect America. They go on to talk about trusting Hillary with the nuclear codes, the re-election for the senate, Obama's failed bill. They talk about the Donald T.'s immigration reforms and what are his thoughts on them. And he responds that the program that he (Trump) wants to create is impossible. You can't roundup 11 million people and deport them. The people who should be deported are criminals. And, I find that what he is saying is true and that you can't deport these people, the people who should be deported are those with a criminal background. The host brings up possible scenarios that Rubio could face if he is reelected for Senate. Such as, which candidate's immigration bill is likely to pass, Trump's temporary on Muslims. He also says that its not a real proposal and not likely to happen. The host brings up what will he do if he is reelected in senate and his bills. The interview ends and we go to the pundits. They mostly talk about the Brexit and the parallels it has with America. The next pundit talks about the election and what the new polls mean for the candidates. Anthony S. talks about how Trump's campaign and its voters are dealing with issues on bigger scale like terrorism and Clinton's campaign and its voters are dealing with issues on day to day basis. The group discussion with the pundits begins with the Brexit. They head on to talk about who's going to be bringing change in America, why Hillary is wrong with why America doesn't need a volatile president &Trump's lost opportunity. The show ends with polls and which candidate's bills could cause more debt for America.

Both shows talked about the Brexit & how does that affect America. And discussed whether the new candidate will bring change or cause more damage to America. With, the new polls is another Clinton presidency likely to happen or will Trump win by a landslide? I want to believe that our country will make the right choice but we can only see how what our future holds for us.

A Week Later...

This week I watched Fox News Sunday with host, Chris Wallace. The guest on the show were Attorney General Loretta Lynch & Senator Jeff Sessions. The pundits on the show were Brite Hume, Amy Walter, George Will, Juan Willams. Along with that I watched State of the Union with stand in, Dana Baker. Guests on the show were Attorney General Loretta Lynch, Senator Jeff Sessions, Senator Ron Johnson. The pundits were Ana Navarro, Jeffrey Lord, Zavier Becerra, and Nina Turner.

A week after the Orlando shooting and the investigation with Omar Mateen is still continuing and many senators are asking for change in the senate. These topics are presented in our first interview with Attorney General, Loretta Lynch. The topics were on the Omar Mateen's wife and why she's not in custody, the release of the transcripts of the 911 phone call with the shooter, and gun control bills being presented in the senate. Chris brings up one of the bills where a civilan who's on the terrorist watch list or no fly list and is trying to buy a gun; the government will have 72 hours to determine if the sale will go through. Chris points out a valid point that the bill is taking away a person's constitutional right, wouldn't due process and thought of process be incorporated as well in the bill? And Mrs. Lynch responds that we have to incorporate both and addition to that providing due process, we have strong law enforcement trying to keep these people safe. Another point brought up is if 72 hours is enough and she explains if the sale in the first place should even proceed or that the government actually will need more time. We head into comments she made that coincidentally look like they are targeted at Trump. But she answers that they were made in general about the climate of fear and hate after the attacks in Orlando. The topics after that were the CIA director saying that ISIS plans on attacking western countries. The interview ends with the endorsement of Hillary Clinton by Obama and if that creates a conflict of interest between her and the president because of the investigation. She says that she doesn't talk about the case with president nor talks about the candidates with him. The next interview is with Senator Jeff Sessions. We open with the statements made by Loretta Lynch about homeland security. Mr. Sessions says that the administration is out of touch and really isn't focusing on the issue of Islamic terrorism. We go on and talk about Trump meeting up the NRA and not allowing people on the terrorist watch list or no fly list getting a gun ever. And for the first part, the senator agrees with trump but not the part of never getting a gun. His view on the take is more in stance with the attorney general. They talk about Trump's comments over these last few day. Such as his rant on soldiers taking millions from reconstruction, saying that Obama should resign, and the division between the GOP party and him (Trump). They talk about Trump's low dip in the polls and if he has squander these last few weeks which a question that a supporter of Trump should really think about. And the senator says that he didn't squander these weeks but it has been difficult for him and gathering more supporters. The interview ends with delegates trying to change the rules, so that the delegates aren't bound and is it realistic. And, no says the senator, its just talk. We end with the Sunday panel and talk about gun control bills, and the CIA director's statements about terrorist and a new way on fighting ISIS. One of the members states that they are finding alternative ways on spreading their cancerous ideology and its rallying on social media and infiltrating refugee camps and attacking them. And even if we defeat them on the battlefield, their presence in places like Africa, social media, they are still winning.
They go on and talk about the gun control bills and if they are going to be able to pass in the senate. Some of panels says that its likely not going to happen or its some changes. And continue with the talk of what issues are the candidates are doing well and why Trump's poll numbers are low. And if Trump's statement that if he wanted he could leave the RNC and how that wouldn't work out for him.

Our next show is State of the Union and we begin with our first interview with Loretta Lynch. We start with the release of the transcripts of the 911 phone calls between the shooter and operator: and with the conversations between the two. The investigation on the motivation is still going on. Dana brings up the events leading up to the shootings and a gun shot owner alarming authorities over him but did not think much of it. And both ladies praised the man for doing the right thing but still was too late to save the people of the attack. They go on talking about the employer not knowing about him being under watch by the government, the wife and what will happen once she's in front of grand jury, if Disney World was another potential place where the shooter was gonna shoot up. The host brings up a point if political correctness is hindering these government investigation. And I think Mrs. Lynch gives a reasonable answer to that and its not just focusing on this sole label but that we have into everything. If their identity is what cause the shooting but look into the motivation of the killing more. Next, we interview is Jeff Sessions. The interview starts on the gun control bills being presented on Monday. And his support on one of the bills where a selective list where the people on that list would have a 72 wait in buying a gun. They then talk about Trump's proposal on temporally banning immigration in areas with terrorism history and what are his thoughts on it. He agrees that immigration needs to slow down. When Dana asked what countries in specific, it took him a couple a seconds to get a hold of the question and answered with middle eastern countries. Dana asked him about how some of the GOP members are "disgusted" "offensive" with speech and he respond that those people should listen to the whole speech. The topic of the delegates trying to block Trump and likeability of it. And end on the note if the senator would be willing to Trump's V.P. pick. The final interview is with Senator Ron Johnson. We start off if he supports the idea that delegates don't need to be bound and vote freely. The senator answers with he doesn't really know what about that. And it seem more like he was promoting himself and his election in Wisconsin. Next on, is Trump hurting the GOP candidates like himself and he says that he doesn't know what's going on the polls. And she brings up a statement he made a month earlier that he would endorse Trump but still hasn't. And he says that he has not endorse him but is supporting him. And Dana ask what's the difference. They go on and talk about if the FBI mishandle the Orlando shooting case, a letter he wrote to Facebook incorporating in the Orlando case and giving information to the authorities. And lastly, we talk with the pundits. They start talking about if people will start supporting Trump, the delegates wanting change and working on blocking Trump. They discuss the about the unfavorable numbers that both candidates have hit in the polls. And talk about Jill Warren's attacks on Trump and stepping them up.

Overall, a week after the attack on Orlando, we have learned valuable notes from the investigation. Mostly the shows seem to focus more on the attack and how the FBI is handling that rather than politics. But the hosts asked about similar topics and the guests on the shows gave reasonable answers and reactions.

Tragedy Strikes Again

   Date viewed: June 12, 2016
   Shows watched:
Meet the Press; Channel: NBC; Host: Chuck Todd
Guests on the show: Senator Jeff Flake, Senator Bernie Sanders.
Pundits: David Plouffe, Steve Schmidt, Hugh Hewitt

On Meet the Press, we begin our first interview with Jeff Flake, with the recent tragedy of the mass shooting that has happened in Orlando, this past weekend. Chuck Todd begins asking whether when they determine the cause of the shooting, whether America will have a gun conversation or terrorist conversation but not both and why is that. But we go on forward to politics, the topic of whether he was ready to support Trump after the bricking between him and Mitt Romney happened. And Flake said that he is not comfortable with supporting him now or ever will be. He states that Trump has said some troubling things (i.e. comments on the federal judge) and wonders if he can change into the start of the general election. Chuck Todd then ask if he believes it was a racist statement, he responds with that he agrees with Paul Ryan's definition and that really the only way to explain it. Chuck brings in a interesting question which is does he believe that there should be an effort for delegates to reconsider their path with Trump. And I say interesting because between the divide of the republican party and others just siding with Trump because they don't want a Clinton presidency, I'd say its a little too late for that. And Jeff Flake thinks the same and its too late for reconsideration. We cover the subjects of the frustration between Trump's comments, whether he would vote for Hilary or Gary Johnson, and will Trump ever change. Onwards to our next interview with Bernie Sanders, Chuck Todd begins again with the mass shooting in Orlando. Bernie reacts to the event by saying we need a tighter gun control. Chuck brings into question if Bernie is still an active candidate and he responds that yes, he is and he will continue to do everything he can to make sure Donald Trump is not elected president. He goes on to say that Trump runs his campaign on bigotry and insulting minorities. He'll partner up with Hilary Clinton and see what are her campaign's policies. Chuck states that it doesn't sound like he's an active candidate but more like he's winding down his campaign. Sanders goes on to say at the convention they'll be discussing what are Hilary's platform and what does she stand for. We head into our first two pundits who discuss Hilary and Trump's campaign and how do they compare to Obama and McCain's 2008 election. We start on the democrats side and basically Obama and Clinton's campaign are about the same except with Obama's having more staff. David Plouffe states that even as they've been dealing with the end of the primary, they are also getting a head start on the general election. He states that Clinton is having these sources such a data base department and stage directors that benefit her but this election is unique in its own ways. Next, is the republican side where Chuck brings up that the McCain campaign went bankrupt during the primaries and had to restart but his campaign had raised more money than where Trump is right now. Steve Schmidt says that Trump hasn't made much use of  being the republican nominee and between the controversies that he has stirred, comments among the party and his campaign hasn't raised money. It should be concerning to the republicans that all his team has done is tweet on Twitter to vote for Trump or tweet where he was. They then head into talking about the core states both have clinched, how the third party candidate affects the republican party. We end the show with talk of the mass shooting and does the country need a gun conversation or terrorist conversation. They also discuss on the candidates reactions, and if having a all women ticket is what America needs.

At the end of this, I believe the guest had some good responses to the questions and the host were asking some excellent questions. But, this week has been a long and difficult one and there's only more ahead of us.

We start off our week with our first show, State of the Union. Jake Tapper starts his show with a one-on-one interview with Donald Trump. And starts off with on a light note with congratulating him with his endorsement of Speaker Paul Ryan. Jake tries to tell Trump whether he is concern with Paul Ryan's hesitation with him but, Trump brushes it off. And saying he is winning and that shouldn't hurt him. Onwards, we head into the interview with the topic of the verbal attacks made by Hilary Clinton towards Trump. She has made it clear that she does not think that he (Trump) is not qualified on being the president nor a commander in chief. Trump thinks the same of Hilary. Next, Jake heads into the subject of foreign affairs and questions Trump on whether he thinks that Japan should have nukes and if the United States should continue to protect Japan. Trump in his own words thinks that Japan should be paying the US the whole price to keep on protecting them. He also includes that he was against the Iraq War. Our next topic is over the violence that occurs at his rallies. Donald Trump says that the people who are protesting are thugs and they are coming from Bernie Sanders  and the Democrats. Next topic, is one that I think was troubling for Trump. When Trump was asked on the comments with Federal Judge, Gonzalo P. Curiel and whether he can conduct his job, he was dodging the question and bringing in that because "he is a Mexican. I'm building a wall."( Trump) and Jake Tapper tried to get a definitive answer but didn't really get one. I personally didn't like how Trump was dodging some of the questions and tried to change the subject. And how he went off topic really. Next, interview was with Hilary Clinton. Jake starts off with the speech she made on Donald Trump and his "thin" skin. She went on to say that he's not qualified to be the president or commander in chief, and that he would probably bring us into an war. Next, was violence at Trump's rallies and she doesn't condemn any of it, neither at his rally or hers or Bernie's. We end her interview with the upcoming California primaries. And stated she was confident that she would win. I wished that different questions would have been asked then the same ones that asked to Trump. Our final interview was Bernie Sanders. In which the interview started off with question of the primaries and he needed the supporter of the young people. He pledges to go all the way to the convention. The topic of Trump accusing of his supporters (Sanders) disrupting his rallies. The next subject discussing that of him and Hilary don't see Trump as a qualified candidate. Personally, I think that Sanders was slow to answer the questions.
On our second show, This Week with George Stephanopoulos, the show begins with a interview of Hilary Clinton and the topic of Trump's Temperament and how the insults being thrown around between the two. The subject of Trump's insults towards Federal Judge Gonzalo P. Curiel was brought to the light and she responded that his attacks are racist. Next, was her infamous email scandal and how she just assumed that she could use a private email. She defends her usage of it. The topic of the second amendment and if she that it was a constitutional right was brought up, and she immediately took a 180 degree on that question and turned the subject to history lesson. Until, George S. redirected what the original question was about and get an actual response from her. Would she support a firearms sales tax was asked and no, she doesn't support it. And the interview ends with talk of the California primaries and she's confident to win. Our next interview was with Senator Bob Corker, an endorser of Donald Trump. The interview starts off with the comments of the federal judge and what are his thoughts on that but he chooses to move on to the next question. Which I think he should of given his view on it or an opinion on it. We head on to the insults being exchanged between Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton and what is with that deal. George S. brings into the light the Trump's ideas and his policies. Corker has said that Trump needs to change and doesn't see eye to eye with his proposals. They discussed Trump's foreign policies and how some are impossible and some not too enthusiastic. I did not personally liked how he didn't really want to explain how he feels with some of Trump's policies. We are at the roundtable, where talk of how Trump needs to change in going to the general election. His attacks with the federal judge and how ironic that Paul Ryan endorsed Donald Trump the same day that Hilary made her speech of attacking Trump. There was talk of how the third party will impact the general election and if republicans are more in favor of Trump or the third party nominee. Once again, we talk about how neck and neck are Bernie Sanders and Hilary Clinton in the California primaries. I agreed with talk of the Trump needing change going in the general election. Our next set of pundits talk about the economy and the dismal growth in May. And how is the economy is ever growing slow and which candidate has the right plan for our country. They talk about how will the economy will affect this presidential election.
At end of this, I think that both host should different topics for each guest and that the guests should have actually answer the questions that were asked instead of dodging or avoiding them.
